Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Tailor for stitching and fitting seat covers for commercial vehicles such as trucks, pickups, buses, mini trucks, and vans. The candidate should have experience in seat cover cutting, stitching, fitting, and finishing work with good quality and neatness.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Stitch seat covers for commercial vehicles
- Cutting rexine, leather, fabric, and foam materials properly
- Measure vehicle seats accurately before stitching
- Ensure proper fitting and finishing of seat covers
- Repair damaged seat covers when required
- Handle sewing machine and stitching tools safely
- Maintain cleanliness in work area
- Complete work within the given timeline
- Coordinate with workshop team during vehicle delivery
- Check quality before final fitting
- Maintain material properly without wastage
Skills Required
- Experience in seat cover stitching
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle seat models
- Ability to use industrial stitching machine
- Neat finishing and quality work
- Basic measuring and cutting knowledge
- Hardworking and punctual
- Team coordination skills
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in automobile seat cover works preferred
- Freshers with tailoring skills can also apply
