Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene of guest rooms and common hotel areas. Key duties include cleaning and sanitizing rooms, making beds with fresh linens, replacing towels and toiletries, and ensuring all amenities are restocked. This role also involves providing excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to a supervisor. Primary responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing: Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms and mirrors, and emptying trash.
- Bed and linen service: Changing bed linens and towels, making beds, and ensuring a fresh supply of linens is available.
- Restocking supplies: Replenishing guest room and bathroom amenities, such as toiletries, tissues, and drinking water.
- Maintenance reporting: Inspecting rooms for any damage or maintenance issues and reporting them to management immediately.
- Guest service: Responding to guest requests, answering questions about hotel services, and resolving complaints in a positive manner.
- Public area upkeep: Maintaining the cleanliness of hallways, corridors, and other public spaces as needed.
- Safety and hygiene: Adhering to all hotel and health and safety rules and ensuring a healthy and safe environment for guests.
