Position: Football Coach

Job Purpose
To develop students’ football skills, fitness, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured training and coaching, while preparing school teams for inter-school competitions and tournaments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct regular football coaching sessions for students.
- Train students in fundamental and advanced football skills, including passing, dribbling, shooting, tackling, ball control, and positioning.
- Develop age-appropriate training programmes for different student groups.
- Conduct fitness, agility, endurance, strength, and speed training.
- Identify talented students and nurture them for competitive football.
- Prepare and coach school football teams for inter-school competitions and tournaments.
- Organize practice matches and assess students' performance.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct during training.
- Ensure proper warm-up and cool-down routines to minimize sports-related injuries.
- Maintain records of student attendance, performance, fitness levels, and progress.
- Ensure proper care and safe usage of football equipment and sports facilities.
- Coordinate with the Sports HOD, Physical Education teachers, and school management.
- Encourage teamwork, leadership, confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
- Ensure strict compliance with school safety policies and child protection guidelines.
- Accompany students during competitions, matches, and sports events when required.
- Communicate students’ progress and areas of improvement to the concerned authorities.
- Participate in Sports Day, school events, camps, and other sports-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education / Sports / relevant field preferred.
- Recognized football coaching certification will be an added advantage.
- Valid football coaching credentials from a recognized association/academy preferred.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is desirable.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Football Coach, preferably in a school or reputed sports academy.
- Experience coaching school-level or competitive football teams will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
