Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Product Information Management (PIM) Manager to join our growing P2P e-commerce team. The successful candidate will be the custodian of our product data ecosystem, ensuring that every item—from raw material to finished product—is accurately documented, categorized, and presented.
As we utilize ERPNext for our production management, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between manufacturing workflows and our online storefront. You will be responsible for the integrity of our Bill of Materials (BOM), item coding, and the visual representation of our products.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Data Management (BOM & Item Codes)
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Creation: Develop and maintain accurate multi-level BOMs for all finished goods within ERPNext, ensuring all raw materials, sub-assemblies, and scrap factors are accounted for.
- Item Master Governance: Create and manage unique item codes and SKU structures for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Data Integrity: Regularly audit ERP data to ensure consistency between physical inventory specifications and digital records.
2. Manufacturing Workflow & Operations
- Work Order Management: Generate and track Work Orders based on production requirements and sales forecasts.
- Workflow Optimization: Define and refine the production workflow within ERPNext, from "Material Request" to "Stock Entry," ensuring seamless handovers between departments.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure BOMs are optimized for cost-efficiency and production speed.
3. Digital Asset Management & Photography
- Photography Oversight: Coordinate and maintain high-quality product photography for the website. Ensure all visual assets meet brand guidelines and technical specifications for web performance.
- Metadata Management: Enrich product listings with technical specifications, SEO-friendly descriptions, and high-resolution media to enhance the customer experience on our P2P platform.
4. System Administration (ERPNext)
- Module Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Manufacturing and Stock modules in ERPNext.
- Reporting: Generate reports on production efficiency, material usage variances, and data accuracy for senior management.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills
- ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERPNext (specifically Manufacturing, Stock, and Buying modules) is highly preferred. Experience with similar systems (Odoo, SAP, NetSuite) will be considered.
- Data Management: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data cleaning and bulk uploads.
- Product Photography: Basic knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) and photo editing/optimization for e-commerce.
- BOM Logic: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including routing, operations, and cost centers.
Professional Skills
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex production processes into structured data.
- Project Management: Experience managing production timelines and coordinating between manufacturing and marketing teams.
- Attention to Detail: An uncompromising eye for data accuracy and visual consistency.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical production workflows to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Product Information Management, Production Planning, or a similar role within E-commerce or Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’ s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Pay: ₹455,789.56 - ₹1,312,882.10 per year
