The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. Develop and maintain moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests; contribute to automated test frameworks to ensure the holistic quality of the software.

Lead the verification of system functionality by executing moderately complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; record test outcomes and report defects and results in the test repository.

Contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline including test automation, test environments, and security.

Perform manual testing responsibilities including the creation of test cases and test plans; follow the peer code review process for test automation code, completing code reviews for peers and incorporating feedback into automated tests.

Verify performance and scalability of the system; actively participate in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews.

Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production and software issues to ensure application stability; actively participate in formal reviews of software products, databases, and environments relating to software testing.

BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, with knowledge of all phases of the test lifecycle and software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks.

Experience with test automation and continuous integration tools, with demonstrated experience with scripting tools, programming, build environments, and delivery pipelines.

Experience in development on Windows/Linux platforms, with experience using source control systems, database technology, and Agile frameworks.

Experience with test design, regression testing, and documenting standards, practice guidelines, and/or standards.

Strong communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated experience with UI and automation testing frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright, with proficiency in TypeScript or similar scripting languages.

Proven ability to lead test verification activities, including executing automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and reporting defects in a structured test repository.

Experience contributing to CI/CD delivery pipelines, including test automation integration, test environments, and security considerations.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating goals into innovative design solutions and test strategies.

Experience with Agile frameworks, actively participating in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and sprint reviews.
