- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate maintenance technicians and specialized contractors
- Financial Oversight: Manage the department's operational budget, track repair expenses, and forecast parts/tool inventories. [1, 2]
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to strict regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA) to maintain an accident-free environment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with production or facility managers to schedule shutdowns and routine servicing without disrupting primary business operations. [1, 2]
