Moulding Operator is a skilled technician responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining moulding machines. These machines are used to create products from various materials like plastics, rubber, or metal. In the Indian manufacturing sector, Moulding Operators are crucial for producing a wide range of goods, from automotive parts to household items. They ensure the moulding process runs smoothly, efficiently, and produces high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Installing moulds, adjusting machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and ensuring proper alignment.
- Operation: Monitoring the moulding process, identifying and resolving issues, and making necessary adjustments.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring they meet specifications, and taking corrective actions.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on moulding machines, troubleshooting problems, and coordinating repairs.
- Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Skills Required:
- Technical knowledge of moulding processes and machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
