Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Tutor to lead training programs at our Caregiver Training Academy. The tutor will be responsible for training aspiring caregivers through classroom instruction, demonstrations and practical skill development.
The role focuses on developing competent, professional caregivers for home care services.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Teaching
- Conduct classroom sessions for caregiver training programs.
- Provide demonstrations and practical skills training.
- Teach essential caregiving skills including patient care, hygiene, mobility support and safety.
Student Evaluation
- Conduct assessments and practical examinations.
- Evaluate trainee competencies and readiness for caregiving roles.
- Provide mentoring and professional guidance to trainees.
Training Program Development
- Support curriculum delivery for caregiver training programs.
- Ensure training follows healthcare standards and best practices.
- Maintain training records and evaluation reports.
Qualifications
- BSc Nursing or GNM
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- Additional certification in geriatric care or caregiver training is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of nursing experience
- Experience in training, mentoring or teaching caregivers or nursing staff preferred
