Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Head to lead and oversee our sales operations in the education sector. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in educational sales, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. This role is responsible for driving admissions, achieving revenue targets, developing sales strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across the sales department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve organizational revenue and admission targets.
- Lead, manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
- Set individual and team sales targets, monitor progress, and ensure consistent achievement of goals.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of Academic Counselors, Student Counselors, and Sales Executives.
- Monitor daily sales activities, lead generation, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with schools, colleges, corporates, and other educational channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to strengthen the organization's market presence.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to improve lead quality and optimize conversion rates.
- Review sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Implement sales processes, performance standards, and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems and maintain accurate sales records.
- Resolve customer escalations and ensure a high standard of student and parent satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales performance and business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Education, EdTech, Training Institute, or Higher Education sector.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong experience in admissions, student enrollment, or educational business development is highly preferred.
