Summary:
As a Business Analyst, a typical day involves examining the structure and operations of an organization to understand how its processes and systems function together. This role requires evaluating the existing business model and how it aligns with technological solutions. The day includes identifying the needs of customers, envisioning improved future states or solutions, and conducting thorough research to collect and combine relevant information. The role demands a thoughtful approach to designing effective business processes that support organizational goals and enhance integration with technology.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support business analysis activities across design, build, testing, and cutover phases within Lending and Trade domains
- Conduct and support as-is and to-be process workshops, covering lending lifecycle and trade finance processes (e.g. loans, facilities, LCs, guarantees, collections)
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements in collaboration with business, operations, and IT stakeholders
- Support fit-gap analysis between existing systems/processes and target state solutions, identifying gaps and impacts
- Assist in defining to-be processes, business rules, and functional specifications, ensuring alignment with overall solution design
- Contribute to test design and execution support, including review of test scenarios, validation of test cases, and defect triaging
- Maintain traceability between requirements, design artefacts, test cases, and implementation deliverables
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Experience in Lending and/or Trade Finance domains
- Must Have: Experience working on core banking system implementation, integration, or migration programs
- Hands-on Business Analysis experience within core banking implementation or transformation programmes
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and document complex business needs.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
