Brief Description:
The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator has to manage the SOA/BPEL applications. The Fusion Middleware Administrator must have basic Oracle Database DBA knowledge and together support Production SOA Systems. The Fusion Middleware Administrator has to work with application team and help them resolving the day to day issues and deployments to PROD and Non Prod instances.
Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Suitable experience will substitute.
• Oracle Middleware and Database certifications are preferred.
• 4-10 years of overall experience in information systems is required with 7 years of Managing Oracle Fusion Middleware Products working as a Weblogic/SOA Admin.
• 4-6 Years of experience working in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
• 4-6 years of experience in OCI, Virtualization, & Devops preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle Analytical Server (Previously OBIEE and other BI tools) is preferred.
Job Duties:
• Installation, configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware products like, WebLogic, SOA/BPEL, OHS and ADF, Oracle Analytical Server, Oracle WebCenter Content Imaging, Oracle Identity And Access Management, Oracle Webtier Utilities, OML4R (Previously Oracle R Enterprise), Oracle Toplink, oda-native-client-sdk-js, Open Symphony Quartz
• Work with off-shore or on-site team and Collaborate.
• Work with application team and users to migrate data between non-production Weblogic instances.
• Refresh of non-production SOA instances from Production instance.
• Troubleshoot and help resolve SOA/BPEL issues.
• Installation, configuration and administration of WebLogic infrastructure.
• Patching, Upgrade, and Migrate of Fusion Middleware applications.
• Excellent experience in troubleshooting, health-check, and performance tuning for middleware servers.
• Good knowledge of configuration, installation and support of BIP/OBIEE reporting tools.
• Excellent knowledge in managed services for Fusion Middleware applications.
• Setup and manage Oracle Fusion MW Weblogic/SOA/BEPL/BIP/OHS Instances integration in two node cluster with high availability for both PROD & DR environments.
• Manage routine Application backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
• Manage switch-over/fail-over and switch-back/fail-back operations between PROD and DR.
• Managing replication between PROD and DR for middleware servers and provide On-Call support to Production Systems.
• Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of SOA/Weblogic administration.
• Handover PROD & DR middleware environments with documentation to customer infra team.
