We are seeking a skilled Civil Draughtsman to prepare detailed drawings and support design and execution teams in civil and structural projects. The role involves drafting, coordination, and ensuring accuracy in all project documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft detailed drawings for civil, architectural, and general civil works, including Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
- Interpret civil and structural specifications and prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO)
- Develop structural steel detailing, fabrication drawings, and drawings for other disciplines as required
- Work under the guidance of Engineers and Project Managers
- Ensure high-quality output with speed and accuracy to minimize errors
- Identify, document, and report any design variations or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Coordinate effectively with other disciplines and project teams
- Take initiative to improve work efficiency and productivity
- Be willing to work at project or site offices for short-term assignments
- Ensure all deliverables are clear, accurate, and meet quality standards
- Perform self-checks on all documents before submission and obtain approval from the immediate supervisor
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or Drafting
- 2–5 years of experience as a Civil Draughtsman
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Strong understanding of civil and structural drawings
- Knowledge of MTO preparation and basic structural detailing
- Familiarity with drafting standards and industry practices
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects
- Exposure to structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
