We are looking for a Wintel Administrator to join our client engagement in the Government sector. The role involves installing, configuring, and managing Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, and VMware infrastructure. You will play a critical part in ensuring high availability, performance, and security across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:-
As a Wintel Admin L1, you will be responsible for:
Designing, building, configuring, and deploying Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
Installing and managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS records.
Designing and deploying VMware Infrastructure, upgrading ESXi hosts, and managing vCenter.
Creating and managing virtual machines (VMs), snapshots, templates, and clones.
Handling physical servers, Dell hardware, and blade server solutions.
Applying Windows security patches, antivirus updates, and keeping systems secure.
Coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and customers for deployments and product evaluations.
Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows and VMware technologies.
Must-Have Skills:-
Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022).
Active Directory and DNS configuration.
VMware infrastructure management.
Knowledge of Dell, HP, and Cisco server hardware.
Good-to-Have Skills:-
PowerShell or batch scripting for automation.
Exposure to Nutanix and other virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of Windows clustering.
Prior experience in financial enterprise environments.
Education & Personality Fit
Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Independent worker with strong teamwork abilities.
Problem-solver with proactive learning attitude.
