Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Indian Chef who can prepare authentic Indian cuisine with consistency, quality, and hygiene. The candidate should have good knowledge of regional Indian dishes and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, Curry, etc.)
- Ensure taste, presentation, and portion control as per standard recipes
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Manage daily food preparation and cooking activities
- Monitor food stock and place orders when required
- Minimize wastage and control food cost
- Supervise kitchen helpers and coordinate with other staff
- Ensure proper storage of food items as per safety standards
- Follow FSSAI guidelines and kitchen SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef in hotel/restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to handle Tandoor, Curry, and Bulk Cooking
- Good time management and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years in a similar role (depending on position level)
Education
- Diploma / Certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
