## Job Summary
The Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings and technical details for commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial projects. The candidate must have strong experience in UAE MEP projects and authority requirements.
## Key Responsibilities
* Prepare electrical shop drawings for lighting, small power, emergency lighting, fire alarm, ELV, containment, earthing and lightning protection systems.
* Develop electrical layouts, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, load schedules and panel schedules.
* Prepare coordinated drawings based on architectural, structural and other MEP services.
* Review contract drawings, specifications, BOQ and consultant comments before preparing drawings.
* Incorporate consultant, client and authority comments into revised drawings.
* Prepare builder’s work drawings, sleeve drawings, equipment room layouts and sectional details.
* Coordinate with electrical engineers, BIM team, site engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, DEWA/SEWA/FEWA requirements, Civil Defence standards and relevant international codes.
* Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on site modifications and approved installations.
* Maintain drawing registers, revision records and submission trackers.
* Support the site team with technical details and clarification drawings.
## Qualifications and Skills
* Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical Engineering or Drafting.
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman, preferably in the UAE.
* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Working knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM coordination is preferred.
* Good understanding of electrical systems, installation practices and MEP coordination.
* Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and submission requirements.
* Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹52,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
