Qualification
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration (Mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately as per doctors' prescriptions.
- Review prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory of medicines.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and ensure FEFO/FIFO practices.
- Maintain statutory registers and pharmacy documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication requirements.
- Provide medication counselling to patients when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and quality standards.
- Assist in procurement, stock verification, and periodic pharmacy audits.
- Handle emergency medication requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of pharmacology and drug dispensing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in pharmacy software.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
- Team player with a patient-focused approach.
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant hospital experience.
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
