We are looking for a passionate and experienced Travel Expert to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling enquiries, creating customized travel itineraries, coordinating bookings, and delivering exceptional customer service from enquiry to trip completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and international Group & FIT travel enquiries.
- Design customized holiday packages based on client requirements and budget.
- Manage flight, hotel, transfer, sightseeing, cruise, and visa bookings.
- Prepare quotations, itineraries, and travel documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, airlines, and DMCs to ensure seamless travel arrangements.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide end-to-end travel assistance.
- Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain accurate booking records and ensure timely customer communication.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in Travel Consulting, Travel Management, and Holiday Package Sales.
- Strong knowledge of Group Tours and FIT travel planning.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
- Experience handling reservations and travel bookings.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in travel reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Travel Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in the travel industry.
- Experience with international destinations, visa processes, and customized holiday planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales and operations environment.
