Position Summary
TEACH is seeking a passionate Assistant Lecturer – Theory Subjects to deliver engaging and accessible classroom instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students pursuing higher education.
The ideal candidate should be committed to inclusive education, possess strong teaching skills, and be willing to adopt innovative teaching methodologies to support diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver theory subjects using interactive and student-centred teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Support students in developing conceptual understanding and academic confidence.
Student Engagement
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance.
- Encourage classroom participation and collaborative learning.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Academic Responsibilities
- Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Participate in curriculum planning and faculty meetings.
- Contribute to academic initiatives and institutional activities.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Commerce, Economics, or any relevant discipline depending on the subject area.
- B.Ed. or NET/SET qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school, college, coaching institute, or higher education institution.
- Fresh candidates with exceptional academic credentials and strong teaching aptitude may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Willingness to learn and adopt inclusive teaching practices.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
Preferred Attributes
- Willingness to work with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Openness to learning Indian Sign Language (ISL). (Training will be provided by TEACH.)
- Strong empathy, patience, and commitment to inclusive education.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
