Job Summary
The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services through the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) in remote and underserved areas of Manipur. The role includes outpatient consultation, diagnosis, treatment, referral services, health awareness activities, and coordination with the MMU team to ensure effective healthcare delivery in the field.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Services
- Provide OPD consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients at MMU camp locations.
- Prescribe medicines as per standard treatment protocols.
- Attend basic medical emergencies and provide first aid when required.
- Identify cases requiring higher medical attention and arrange referrals to nearby health facilities.
- Conduct health screening and follow-up of patients.
Community Healthcare
- Participate in health awareness and health education activities in communities.
- Support implementation of government health programs and outreach activities.
- Promote preventive healthcare practices among beneficiaries.
- Coordinate with local authorities, ASHA workers, and community leaders during field visits.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain patient records, OPD registers, and treatment details accurately.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Ensure proper documentation of medicine utilization and stock records.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Team Coordination
- Work closely with GNM, Pharmacist, Driver, and other MMU staff.
- Guide and supervise paramedical staff during field operations.
- Ensure adherence to medical protocols, hygiene, and safety standards inside the MMU.
Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Candidates willing to work in field and remote locations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
