We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Testing Lead to spearhead our Quality Assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive test strategies, leading a team of QA engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires a strong technical background in various testing methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in the testing process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust test strategy, test plans, and test cases across multiple projects and products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and project timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
- Oversee the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and practices to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements, identify potential risks, and ensure testability of features.
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, prioritization, and verification of fixes, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in testing, including performance testing, security testing, usability testing, and accessibility testing, as appropriate for the product.
- Report on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders, providing clear insights into product quality and release readiness.
- Participate in release planning and deployment activities, ensuring that all necessary testing has been completed and sign-offs are obtained.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA function.
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and provide recommendations for process improvements to prevent recurrence.
