Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for software applications using Java
- Collaborate with software development teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
- Identify, report, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to support automated testing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve testing practices
Requirements
- Have 5-10 years of experience in software development engineering in test (SDET) with a focus on Java
- Possess strong proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies
- Have experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
