Job Requirements:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor with hands-on experience in Adobe Premiere Pro to join our media/creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong visual sense, storytelling ability, and technical editing skills to produce engaging content for digital platforms, marketing, YouTube, and social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must.
- Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or other Adobe tools is a plus.
- Strong storytelling and visual editing skills.
- Understanding of aspect ratios, frame rates, colour grading, and sound design.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Portfolio/show reel showcasing past video editing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Add effects, transitions, graphics, text overlays, and sound to enhance storytelling
- Trim, colour-correct, and clean up audio and visuals for a professional finish
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and production teams to understand project goals
- Work on a range of content including promotional videos, social media reels, product demos, interviews, and event highlights
- Maintain organized project files, backups, and final renders
- Stay up-to-date with current video trends, editing styles, and social platform requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Studies, Media Production, Communication, Animation, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or visual effects is a strong plus.
- Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and emotional tone.
- Experience in editing short-form and long-form content across various industries (e.g., corporate, fashion, lifestyle, education, entertainment).
- Knowledge of color grading and LUTs for cinematic editing.
- Basic sound design and audio mixing skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous work in a studio, agency, production house, or freelance with a proven track record.
