Jaro Education is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Career Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing career outcomes for learners by building strong industry partnerships, facilitating placement opportunities, and guiding candidates toward successful career growth. This position requires a combination of relationship management, career counseling, employer engagement, and strategic thinking to drive student success and strengthen corporate collaborations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate organizations, hiring managers, and industry leaders to create placement and career advancement opportunities for learners.
- Partner with employers to understand hiring needs and align talent pipelines with business requirements.
- Conduct career counseling sessions, mock interviews, resume reviews, and career readiness workshops for students and working professionals.
- Support learners in identifying career goals, skill gaps, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal academic and program teams to ensure curriculum alignment with current industry demands.
- Track placement activities, employment trends, and hiring outcomes to improve career services effectiveness.
- Organize networking events, employer engagement initiatives, recruitment drives, webinars, and career fairs.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate partners to drive recurring hiring opportunities.
- Analyze job market trends and provide insights to learners and stakeholders regarding emerging career opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student engagement, placements, employer interactions, and performance metrics.
- Work closely with sales, operations, and academic teams to enhance the overall learner experience and career outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Career Services, Placement Management, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, Business Development, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of career development frameworks, recruitment processes, and employer engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and hiring organizations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Prior experience in the EdTech industry.
- Experience working in a B2C business environment.
- Knowledge of higher education, executive education, and professional learning programs.
- Exposure to student placement initiatives, alumni engagement, and career counseling services.
- Ability to identify market trends and create strategic employer partnerships.
