Position Summary
The Social Worker – Education, Youth & Community Development supports the on-ground implementation of educational programs, youth leadership initiatives, digital literacy, health awareness campaigns, and community engagement interventions. The role falls directly under the Social Development component of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with local schools, teachers, youth groups, Village Education Committees (VECs), and School Management Committees (SMCs).
- Community Mobilization: Mobilize students, parents, and youth groups to actively participate in all scheduled project activities.
- Educational Support: Facilitate learning support sessions, STEM activities, workshops, and digital literacy programs.
- Youth Engagement: Organize youth bootcamps, leadership programs, sports tournaments, cultural activities, and support Bal Panchayat (child parliament) initiatives.
- Health & Awareness: Coordinate health camps, menstrual hygiene management (MHM) awareness sessions, and healthy lifestyle campaigns.
- Behavior Change: Conduct community awareness sessions and behavioral change communication (BCC) activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate student and participant attendance records, beneficiary data, surveys, field documentation, and write community impact or youth success stories.
Required Skills
- Mobilization: Proven ability in youth and community mobilization, facilitation, and engagement.
- Coordination: Strong school, teacher, and institutional stakeholder coordination skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and behavioral change facilitation skills.
- Digital Literacy: Proficient in digital literacy tools, general MS Office, and field reporting.
- Reporting: Strong basic research, survey, and field documentation reporting skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
