Position Title: Tendering Engineer – Real Estate
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tendering Engineer to manage the preparation, submission, and coordination of tenders for real estate and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, technical documentation, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with procurement, design, project, and finance teams during tender preparation.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Analyze project risks, material costs, labor costs, and timelines.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and rate analysis.
- Maintain tender records, bid history, and estimation databases.
- Support contract negotiations and project handover to execution teams.
- Monitor market rates and industry trends for competitive pricing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 4–10 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or quantity surveying in real estate/construction.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, estimation, contracts, and tendering procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Good analytical and negotiation skills.
