Job Role & Responsibility
- Deliver lectures on Hospital Management, Healthcare Administration, and Health Services Management subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the approved syllabus and academic calendar.
- Develop teaching materials such as notes, presentations, and case studies.
- Conduct classroom sessions, tutorials, seminars, workshops, and practical classes.
- Use appropriate teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, examinations, and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, marks, and academic progress.
- Ensure completion of syllabus within the prescribed time frame.
- Conduct revision sessions and provide academic support to students when required.
- Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision activities.
- Prepare question papers, answer keys, and evaluation schemes.
- Develop and update course content to meet healthcare industry standards.
- Contribute to academic planning, timetable preparation, and academic coordination.
- Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and guidance to students.
- Guide students during internships, hospital training, and project work.
- Monitor student attendance, discipline, and overall performance.
- Address student academic and behavioral concerns in a timely manner.
- Support students in career planning and professional development.
- Conduct research activities related to hospital management and healthcare administration.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs.
- Stay updated with new developments, policies, and practices in healthcare management.
- Attend departmental and institutional meetings as required.
- Assist in admission, orientation, examination, and academic administration activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to academic and administrative work.
- Assist in organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, training programs, and academic events.
- Coordinate with hospitals and healthcare organizations for student internships and training.
- Arrange hospital visits, fieldwork, and practical exposure programs for students.
- Maintain professional relationships with hospitals and healthcare institutions.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of student, patient, and institutional information.
- Promote discipline, professionalism, and ethical conduct among students.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department, Principal, or Management from time to time.
