About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Development Executive to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong textile background with hands-on experience in woven garments or home textiles, and a good understanding of product development processes from sampling to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage product development activities for woven garments or home textile products.
- Handle sample development activities and ensure timely execution as per customer requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and production units to support smooth product development and commercialization.
- Monitor product specifications, material sourcing, and development timelines.
- Support bulk merchandising activities and coordinate order execution where required.
- Maintain development records, approvals, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met.
- Assist in cost estimation and basic costing processes (preferred).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Apparel Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in the textile industry, preferably in woven garments or home textiles.
- Experience in sample development and/or bulk merchandising.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle and production processes.
- Basic knowledge of costing processes will be an added advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
Preferred Profile
- Exposure to buyer interactions and product development coordination.
- Good understanding of fabric, trims, and garment/home textile manufacturing processes.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and deadlines.
