Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage inbound and outbound logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in coordinating with transportation vendors, negotiating freight contracts, arranging vehicles, and ensuring the timely movement of materials while optimizing transportation costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
- Handle and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate and finalize transportation contracts, freight rates, and service agreements.
- Arrange vehicles as per dispatch and material receipt schedules.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials while meeting customer and production timelines.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues or delays.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Sales teams for smooth logistics planning.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Verify freight bills and coordinate with the Finance team for timely payment processing.
- Maintain logistics documentation, including e-way bills, LR copies, PODs, invoices, and transport records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in managing transportation vendors and freight operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Experience in vendor management and transportation contract negotiation.
- Good understanding of vehicle planning and dispatch coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is preferred.
- Knowledge of e-way bills, GST-related logistics documentation, and transportation compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
