Salim Associates Builders and Developers Pvt. Ltd., Thrissur is hiring a site Engineer for an apartment project in Viyyur, Thrissur.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2/3 years of experience in high-quality or high-rise building construction projects
- Strong experience in site management
- Qualification: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely completion of assigned work, meeting specified quality standards and estimates.
- Approve Goods Received Notes.
- Schedule the project in logical phases and allocate time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Review and approve site payment requests, cross-referencing with purchase orders and bills.
- Analyze job specifications to determine suitable construction methods.
- Requisition high-quality materials for project completion and ensure their quality standards are met.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost-tracking reports for each project.
- Develop and implement quality control programs for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Address delays, adverse weather, or emergencies at construction sites, taking appropriate action.
- Plan, organize, and supervise activities related to the construction and maintenance of structures,facilities, and systems.
- Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other standards.
- Assess labor requirements and allocate workers to construction sites as needed.
- Control and monitor labor, material, and equipment costs.
- Investigate damages, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure adherence to proper procedures.
- Evaluate construction methods and assess the cost-effectiveness of plans using appropriate techniques.
- Review project plans and specifications, providing feedback on design, scheduling, potential cost-saving measures, and possible construction challenges.
- Mentor and assist estimators in the preparation of project budgets.
- Communicate confidently with the design team and clients, and effectively lead the trades.
- Raise relevant issues at site meetings, preparing and submitting minutes to the Project Manager.
- Notify the consultant or client of any errors, discrepancies, or omissions in the consultant’s design drawings.
- Ensure the completion and tracking of all required independent testing and inspections.
- Issue monthly progress reports, invoices, and final holdback documentation to the consultant.
- Enforce good construction standards and maintain quality control throughout the project.
- Be familiar with the purchase procedure and bill submission process.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.
