Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with customers, consultants, OEMs, contractors, and end-users in the Electrical Panel Board industry.
The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of LT Panels, MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, PLC Control Panels, and Industrial Automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
- Generate enquiries for PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, Automation, HVAC, Fire Fighting, STP/WTP, and Building Management System panels.
- Meet consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end-users regularly.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Sales & Marketing
- Prepare sales forecasts and market intelligence reports.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and customer events.
- Promote SRG Power Control System products and solutions.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
Tender & Proposal Management
- Coordinate with estimation and design teams for quotations.
- Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate orders.
- Support contract finalization and order closure.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure timely response to customer enquiries.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolution.
- Maintain long-term customer engagement and repeat business.
Strategic Growth
- Develop channel partners and dealers.
- Explore opportunities in new markets and export business.
- Support company branding and digital marketing initiatives.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) / Electrical Engineering
- MBA (Marketing) preferred
Experience
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in Electrical Panel Board, Industrial Automation, Switchgear, Drives, or Electrical Project Sales.
- Proven experience in business development and customer acquisition.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Knowledge of PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, and Automation Panels.
- Understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T, and similar products.
Sales Skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to convert enquiries into business orders.
Software Skills
- MS Office
- CRM Software
- ERP Systems (preferred)
