Job Description – GoLang Solution Architect
Job Title: GoLang Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect
Experience: 10–12 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: Remote
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in GoLang, cloud architecture, distributed systems, and cybersecurity platforms. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end solution architecture for a cloud-based cybersecurity platform operating at massive scale, supporting millions of assets/endpoints across multiple product modules and a broad third-party integration ecosystem.
The candidate should have a strong track record of designing, scaling, and operating highly available, secure, and cost-efficient systems in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and define the end-to-end solution architecture across multiple product modules such as detection, response, asset inventory, and reporting.
- Design highly scalable architectures capable of reliably supporting millions of assets, endpoints, records, and events.
- Lead cloud infrastructure architecture decisions covering compute, storage, networking, IAM, multi-region, multi-account, multi-tenant architecture, and disaster recovery.
- Design and govern integrations with third-party platforms such as SIEM/SOAR, ticketing systems, identity providers, cloud APIs, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Define reusable integration patterns, APIs, data contracts, messaging frameworks, and integration standards.
- Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, capacity plans, technology strategies, and technical standards aligned with business and product goals.
- Establish architectural standards and guardrails for scalability, security, APIs, data flow, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, Security, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to align technical decisions and implementation.
- Conduct architecture reviews and identify performance bottlenecks, scalability limitations, security risks, and single points of failure.
- Lead threat modeling and ensure security is incorporated throughout the architecture and development lifecycle.
- Own key non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, availability, reliability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend core technologies including databases, messaging systems, orchestration platforms, cloud services, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Support presales and enterprise customer discussions, particularly for large-scale and complex deployments.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation including C4 diagrams, ADRs, system architecture diagrams, and data-flow diagrams.
- Provide technical leadership and influence architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams without direct reporting authority.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10–12 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or architecture roles.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with GoLang (Golang) and modern software architecture.
- Proven experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Experience handling systems involving millions of assets, records, events, or endpoints.
- Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of:
- Distributed systems
- Event-driven architecture
- Data partitioning
- Eventual consistency
- Caching strategies
- High availability and fault tolerance
- Scalability and performance optimization
- Experience with multi-tenant, multi-account, and multi-region architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Experience designing integration architectures using REST APIs, webhooks, message queues, and asynchronous communication.
- Strong understanding of security architecture and threat modeling.
- Ability to define and enforce architectural standards across engineering teams.
- Excellent experience creating C4 architecture diagrams, ADRs, data-flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work with engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
