Job Description:
We are urgently hiring a Welding / NDT Structural Engineer for a project in Hazira, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for welding inspection, NDT activities, and structural quality control at site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding inspection and quality control activities
- Conduct and supervise NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities
- Ensure compliance with welding procedures and project specifications
- Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications
- Monitor structural fabrication and erection activities
- Maintain QA/QC documentation and inspection reports
- Coordinate with site teams for quality assurance
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in welding/NDT/structural works
- Strong knowledge of NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT)
- Experience in structural fabrication and erection projects
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Immediate joiners preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in NDT (Level II preferred)
- Experience in industrial projects (Oil & Gas / Heavy Engineering preferred)
- Strong understanding of welding codes and standards
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
