Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong expertise in planning and execution monitoring of structural and superstructure works for high-rise building projects. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, progress monitoring, and coordination with site execution teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules, baseline programs, and micro-level planning for high-rise building projects.
- Monitor structural and superstructure construction activities as per approved timelines.
- Track project progress and identify delays, critical activities, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
- Conduct variance analysis between planned vs. actual progress.
- Ensure effective manpower, material, and equipment planning.
- Review drawings, BOQs, and construction sequences for planning purposes.
- Support management with project forecasting and productivity analysis.
- Maintain project documentation and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with project milestones and client requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in planning and monitoring of structure and superstructure activities for high-rise building projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls.
- Ability to prepare catch-up schedules and recovery plans.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Experience in handling multiple stakeholders and large-scale construction projects.
Qualification
- B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering.
- Candidate should have completed education from reputed/prestigious institutes.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 11+ years of relevant experience in high-rise residential/commercial building projects.
- Strong exposure to structural and superstructure planning activities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments with strong reporting and coordination capabilities.
