- Oversees the financial strategy of the company or project. This role makes decisions regarding investment, funding, and financial planning.
- Oversee accounting operations and manage accounting staff. Interpret and analyze financial reports to make business recommendations to the executive team.
- Identify, analyze, and proactively mitigate financial risks associated with the project. Often manage insurance policies and surety bonds.
- Manage the financial records and transactions of the project.
- Handle accounting and financial reporting, and often assist in financial planning and analysis.
- Preparing a comprehensive budget that aligns with the company's goals.
- Monitoring and maintaining cash balances to meet project needs. This includes managing payments to subcontractors and vendors, billing clients and maintaining a balance to avoid liquidity issues.
- Advise and work with top management to meet financial goals
- Oversee accounting personnel and departments
- Work with banks, sureties, and CPA as the company representative
- Advise and work with management regarding legal and regulatory issues, and reporting requirements
Responsibilities
- Accurately track income and expenses
- Oversee vendor payments
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Monitor key performance indicators and financial trends
- Develop company budget
- Account and cost reconciliation
- Manage liquidity and cash flow
- Prevent theft and fraud
- Perform accounting closeout procedures on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Required skills and qualifications
- Degree in accounting & finance with 2+ years work experience
- Civil Industry experience will add advantage.
- Accounting software-specific experience

- Communication, both written and verbal
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
