- Consultations: Conduct comprehensive outpatient (OPD) examinations.
- Diagnostics: Perform detailed slit-lamp biomicroscopy, intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement (tonometry), and corneal topography.
- Patient Counseling: Educate patients on surgical risks, expected visual outcomes, and available treatment alternatives.
- Phacoemulsification (Phaco): Independently perform cataract surgeries, using ultrasonic energy to break up and remove cloudy lenses while precisely implanting clear artificial lenses through microscopic incisions.
- Refractive Surgery: Perform vision-correction procedures (e.g., LASIK, PRK, or ICL implantation) to reshape the cornea or add corrective lenses.
- Complication Management: Handle complex surgical scenarios and manage any intra-operative complications effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of operating room professionals, optometrists, and anesthetists to ensure efficient clinical flow and strict infection control.
