The Paint Shop In-Charge is responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all paint shop operations to ensure products are painted according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. The role involves managing manpower, equipment, materials, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily paint shop operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within scheduled timelines.
- Monitor surface preparation, painting, curing, and finishing processes.
- Maintain paint quality, color consistency, film thickness, and finish standards.
- Ensure proper mixing, storage, and usage of paints, thinners, and related materials.
- Monitor paint consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of painting equipment, spray guns, booths, ovens, compressors, and conveyors.
- Train and supervise paint shop operators and helpers.
- Maintain housekeeping standards following 5S practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and PPE requirements.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain production records, paint consumption reports, rejection reports, and shift documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
