We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Caretaker / Nursing Assistant to provide quality care and support to patients, elderly individuals, or residents. The ideal candidate should assist with daily living activities, maintain hygiene and comfort, monitor patient well-being, and support healthcare professionals in delivering excellent care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Help patients with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning safely.
- Assist in feeding patients and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration (if trained).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, beds, and medical equipment.
- Support patients with toileting and incontinence care while maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Administer basic first aid and assist nurses during medical procedures when required.
- Observe and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff or supervisor.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Ensure patient safety by following infection control and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of daily care activities.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility when necessary.
- Follow hospital, clinic, or care home policies and healthcare standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, or Training in Nursing Assistant, Patient Care, Geriatric Care, or a related healthcare field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply. Experience in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, or home healthcare is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of patient care and hygiene practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Physically fit to assist patients with mobility and daily activities.
