About the role
We are not looking for someone who just sets up basic search campaigns and leaves them running. We need a hands-on Google Ads Specialist who has managed ₹5,000+/day ad budgets, understands the full Google ecosystem — Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Demand Gen — and knows how to build, test, and scale campaigns that actually drive results.
What you will own
- End-to-end setup and management of Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Demand Gen campaigns
- Keyword research, match type strategy, and negative keyword management
- Ad copy writing and testing — headlines, descriptions, CTAs across different angles
- Landing page coordination — working with the team to test and improve page performance and conversion rate
- Audience segmentation, remarketing lists, and customer match setup
- Daily monitoring of CPC, CPL, ROAS, Quality Score — and making fast optimization decisions
- Scaling winning campaigns while cutting what is not working
Non-negotiable requirements
- Minimum 2 years of active, hands-on Google Ads experience — you personally managed the campaigns
- Managed a minimum of ₹5,000/day ad spend consistently across client accounts
- Hands-on experience with Search Ads — keyword strategy, bidding, ad copy testing
- Worked on Performance Max campaigns — understands asset groups, signals, and optimization
- Experience running YouTube Ads — in-stream, bumper, or video action campaigns
- Has run or supported Demand Generation campaigns
- Understands landing pages — knows what makes a good page, can brief changes, and has tested variants
- Comfortable reading Google Ads data and making decisions without being told what to do
You should also know
- Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking setup
- Remarketing and audience targeting (RLSA, Customer Match, Similar Segments)
- Google Analytics 4 — reading campaign data and understanding user behavior post-click
- Funnel thinking — not just CTR and impressions, but what happens after the click
Bonus skills
- Basic landing page building (Unbounce, Carrd, or similar)
- Meta Ads experience alongside Google
- Ad copywriting and angle testing mindset
- E-commerce or D2C campaign experience
