Job Summary
Sri Murugan Metal Shop is looking for a highly organized and responsible HR Assistant with Admin Responsibilities to support the Human Resources and Administration functions of the organization. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
- Assist in recruitment, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination.
- Support employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Prepare and maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Update employee records and HR databases.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, permissions, and overtime records.
- Assist in payroll preparation by maintaining attendance and leave data.
- Prepare appointment, confirmation, warning, transfer, and relieving letters.
- Coordinate employee performance review documentation.
- Maintain statutory and HR compliance records.
- Support employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Administration
- Handle daily office administration activities.
- Maintain office records, files, and documentation.
- Manage office stationery, supplies, and inventory.
- Coordinate office maintenance and facility management.
- Communicate with vendors and service providers.
- Arrange meetings and maintain meeting schedules.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and official correspondence.
- Support travel bookings and administrative arrangements.
- Assist departments with administrative requirements.
- Ensure the office environment is organized, clean, and efficient.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of payroll and attendance management.
- Professional attitude with a high level of confidentiality.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR and Administration preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication and computer skills are also encouraged to apply.
