About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and execution-focused Principal Technical Program Manager (Data Platform) to lead large-scale Data Engineering and Platform initiatives across enterprise environments. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong technical depth, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional programs with complete ownership.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our Azure-based data platform roadmap while partnering closely with engineering leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Program Delivery
- Own and drive the end-to-end Data Platform roadmap and execution strategy.
- Lead large-scale data engineering initiatives across multiple teams and business units.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing data platform delivery aligned with business objectives.
Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Create executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, status reports, and strategic narratives.
- Present program updates, risks, budgets, timelines, and roadmap decisions to senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
- Translate technical concepts into business-impact discussions for non-technical audiences.
Governance & Risk Management
- Maintain and manage comprehensive RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve program risks before impacting delivery timelines.
- Drive dependency management across engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams.
Agile Program Leadership
- Lead Agile ceremonies within enterprise-scale SAFe Agile environments.
- Manage program backlogs, PI planning, sprint execution, and cross-team coordination.
- Utilize Jira and Azure DevOps for program tracking, reporting, and delivery governance.
Metrics & Operational Excellence
- Define, track, and optimize platform KPIs including latency, throughput, reliability, and cost-to-serve.
- Use data-driven insights to balance technical debt, scalability, and feature prioritization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery and operational processes.
Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Expertise
- Strong experience working in Azure-based data ecosystems.
- Hands-on exposure to technologies such as:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Snowflake
Program Management & Tools
- Advanced expertise in Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Strong command over PowerPoint and executive storytelling.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale technical programs.
Agile & Governance
- Deep understanding of SAFe Agile frameworks and delivery methodologies.
- Expertise in RAID management, dependency tracking, and governance reporting.
- Strong experience handling cross-functional and distributed teams.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
