Job Summary
GD Goenka Public School is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Attendant to support the smooth functioning of school laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). The candidate will assist teachers, maintain lab equipment, and ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory setups before practical classes
- Assist teachers and students during experiments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab areas
- Handle, label, and store chemicals and equipment properly
- Ensure compliance with all lab safety rules and procedures
- Maintain inventory records of lab materials and supplies
- Report any damage, breakage, or safety issues immediately
- Dispose of chemical waste safely as per guidelines
- Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12th pass (Science stream preferred)
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety proceduresPreferred Qualifications
- Diploma in Lab Technology or relevant field
- 1–3 years of experience in a school/college laboratory
- Basic English communication skills
Salary
- ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience)
