Position Summary
The Corporate Security Investigator is responsible for conducting investigations into theft, fraud, misconduct, and security incidents across North and North East India, and for serving as the primary point of contact for engagement with government authorities and law enforcement agencies on security and criminal matters in the region. This role reports to the Regional Security Leader (APAC) within NCR Atleos' Global Security Operations (GSO) function and is based out of Gurugram with extensive travel across the assigned territory.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Conduct end-to-end investigations into theft, fraud, workplace misconduct, and security policy violations across sites in North and Northeast India.
- Serve as the primary liaison with police and law enforcement agencies, including managing FIRs and coordinating on ongoing criminal cases.
- Support ATM cash-shortage claim reviews, including Electronic Journal (EJ) log analysis and reconciliation.
- Collect, preserve, and document physical and digital evidence in line with chain-of-custody standards.
- Review CCTV footage and access control records to support investigation findings.
- Conduct interviews and prepare clear, detailed, and legally sound investigation reports and case files.
- Support court proceedings and legal follow-up on cases, in coordination with the Legal team.
- Conduct physical security audits, SOP compliance checks, and site risk assessments across the region.
- Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk reviews as needed.
- Travel extensively across North and Northeast India as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in investigations (corporate, private sector, or law enforcement).
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with government authorities and/or law enforcement agencies on investigative, criminal, or legal matters.
- Strong report writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and legally sound investigation documentation.
- Ability to travel extensively across North and Northeast India.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior service in police or another law enforcement agency.
- Professional certification such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or ASIS-affiliated credentials or actively working toward one.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and regional North/Northeast Indian languages.
- Prior exposure to banking, ATM, or cash-in-transit security environments.
