Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse and AWS to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in advanced SQL development, ETL pipeline implementation, Snowflake performance optimization, and AWS data services. You will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, automating workflows, integrating cloud storage, and ensuring efficient data processing for analytics and business intelligence
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with data loading techniques (COPY INTO, Snowpipe, internal/external stages).
- Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Snowflake Streams and Tasks for data pipeline automation and CDC (Change Data Capture).
- Knowledge of integrating Snowflake with AWS services such as S3 and Glue.
- Familiarity with external tables and querying data directly from external storage (e.g., Amazon S3)
- Knowledge of Snowflake data sharing across accounts/regions for secure collaboration.
AWS Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue (ETL).
- Building and managing ETL pipelines.
- Working with Python jobs in Glue.
- Knowledge of AWS Step Functions.
- Understanding of state machines and job sequencing.
