We are looking for an experienced Non-Conformance Design Assessor who evaluates, investigates, technically documents and disposes of Aero Engine components and process/damage deviations discovered during the Manufacturing and assembly of aircraft gas turbine engines. The role involves coordinating with Engineering, Customer, Onsite, Repair and MRB teams to ensure timely and effective closure of component deviation related issues. Candidate should be familiar with assembly and functions of complete Gas Turbine engines and individual subsystems.

Work Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess non-conformance reports (NCRs) raised during manufacturing, inspection, or assembly.
- Technically evaluate deviations against engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
- Determine the impact of non-conformances on fit, form, function, safety, reliability, and performance.
- Decide on appropriate dispositions such as Use as is, Rework, Repair, or Scrap.
- Assess the physical damage to the parts and provide the repair solutions.
- Develop and validate 3D CAD models, 2D Engineering Drawings, Layouts and design documentation.
- Experience in understanding Complex Drawings, GD&T and performing tolerance stack-up.
- Good knowledge and understanding of FEA results and taking appropriate engineering decisions.
- Prepare clear technical justifications and disposition instructions.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality, onsite engineers and inspection teams to resolve non-conformances in short turnaround time.
- Maintain accurate records and traceability of all assessments and decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and improving product quality and turnaround time.
Must have Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Aero Engine.
- Experience in UG-NX software is must.
- Strong knowledge of Aero engine component materials, coatings, surface treatments, Non-Conformance analysis, Repair solutions, GD&T & tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Hands-on experience on concession/design change activities/documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of experience.
