We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Solution Architect with a strong focus on infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code principles, and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud projects.
- Lead the design and architecture of highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure solutions, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for automated provisioning and management of AWS resources.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define infrastructure requirements and integrate cloud solutions into existing environments.
- Ensure the security posture of AWS infrastructure by implementing IAM policies, network security (VPC, Security Groups, NACLs), data encryption, and compliance controls.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence, including monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing AWS environments to identify areas for improvement, risk mitigation, and adherence to architectural principles.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Stay current with emerging AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to our infrastructure.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for critical infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
