Job Purpose
The Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office. The role involves maintaining office facilities, assisting with clerical tasks, supporting meetings, managing office supplies, and providing general assistance to employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of office premises, pantry, meeting rooms, and common areas.
- Prepare and serve refreshments to employees, visitors, and guests during meetings and office events.
- Assist with photocopying, scanning, printing, filing, and document distribution.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, courier deliveries, and packages.
- Deliver documents and materials within and outside the office as required.
- Monitor office stationery, pantry supplies, and other consumables and report replenishment needs.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms and ensuring they are ready for scheduled meetings.
- Support basic office administration and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance personnel for routine office requirements.
- Ensure office equipment and common areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned to support efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School (10th/12th) qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an office support or administrative role is an advantage but not essential.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic knowledge of office practices and workplace etiquette.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, office-based position.
- Standard working hours with occasional flexibility based on operational requirements.
- May be required to perform local errands related to office operations.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
