Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO End User to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations using SAP. The candidate should have good hands-on experience in SAP FI processes, accounting transactions, financial reporting, and coordination with internal teams and SAP support/functional consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting and financial transactions in SAP.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Process journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and expense transactions.
- Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting and account reconciliation.
- Handle vendor and customer master data and related transactions.
- Support bank reconciliation and cash-related activities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Generate financial reports and extract relevant data from SAP.
- Perform vendor/customer account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal Finance, Business, and IT/SAP teams for issue resolution.
- Support audit requirements by providing SAP transaction details and supporting documents.
- Follow company accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Identify transaction-related issues and coordinate with the SAP FICO functional team for resolution.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI/FICO as an End User.
- Good knowledge of GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting processes.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience in invoice processing, payments, receipts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience working in an SAP-enabled Finance & Accounts environment.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in month-end closing and audit support will be preferred.
