Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Hardware and Desktop Support.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
Experience with desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and networking.
Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and remote support tools.
Good communication, troubleshooting, and customer support skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
Role & Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems.
Install, upgrade, and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues such as motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, power supply, and display problems.
Install and configure software applications, Microsoft Office, antivirus, and business applications.
Configure and troubleshoot Outlook, email accounts, and Microsoft Teams.
Join computers to Active Directory domains and manage user accounts, passwords, and Group Policies.
Provide basic network support, including LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and printer sharing.
Troubleshoot internet connectivity and network-related issues.
Perform system backups, data migration, and OS reinstallation when required.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware warranty, repairs, and replacement.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Create and update support tickets while ensuring timely resolution within SLA.
Provide remote support using remote desktop tools.
Perform preventive maintenance and health checks on IT equipment.
Assist in setting up desktops, laptops, meeting rooms, and conference devices.
Support antivirus deployment, endpoint security, and Windows updates.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or relevant teams.
Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and procedures.
Requirements
Must be willing to work beyond regular office hours whenever required.
Should be available to provide remote or on-call support during weekends and public holidays, based on business requirements.
Must be flexible to respond to critical IT incidents and emergencies outside normal working hours.
Willingness to travel to company locations, if required.
