Job Summary:
The Assistant Team Lead – Last Mile Operations supports the Team Lead in managing daily delivery operations, ensuring timely parcel deliveries, efficient route management, and high customer satisfaction. The role involves supervising delivery executives, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring adherence to company processes and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Team Lead in managing day-to-day last mile delivery operations.
- Supervise and coordinate with delivery executives to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor shipment movement and ensure adherence to delivery SLAs.
- Support route planning and optimize delivery efficiency.
- Track operational KPIs such as delivery success rate, RTO, and productivity.
- Handle customer and operational escalations from the field team.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and performance tracking of delivery staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
- Provide on-ground support during peak volumes or operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or last mile operations.
- Experience in team coordination or field operations preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong coordination and leadership skills
- Good communication and problem-solving ability
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations and delivery processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Basic computer and reporting skills (Excel, internal systems)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
