About the Role:
BT Interiors and Exteriors is seeking a passionate and creative Interior Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will work closely with senior designers on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including bungalows, farmhouses, resorts, and office spaces. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience where design meets vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conceptualizing and developing interior design ideas for ongoing projects
- Create mood boards, color palettes, and material boards
- Support in preparing 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)
- Conduct site visits and support on-site coordination with vendors and contractors
- Research materials, furniture, finishes, and decor items
- Help maintain project documentation and presentation materials
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design or a related field
- Basic knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar
- Strong sense of creativity, detail orientation, and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for design and an eye for aesthetics
